Sandoz (to Scully): "Suddenly Albert (Hosteen) was able
to make a REAL translation."
Scully: "A passage from The Bible on an artefact that
you're saying is extra-terrestrial."
Sandoz: Nodding his head to say yes.
Scully: "And uh, how did the aliens get it?"
Sandoz: "They gave it to us. The text came from
them. I can prove it"
Scully: [on phone to Mulder] "I'm in New Mexico, with,
uh, with Dr Sandoz."
Mulder: "Does he have the artefact?"
Scully: "Mulder, this, uh, artefact if I'm to believe
what I'm being told about it..."
Mulder: "What?"
Scully: "It has a passage on it from Genesis."
Mulder: "Scully, that artefact is extraterrestrial."
Scully: "Mulder, it can't be."
Mulder: "Did you know what that would mean?"
Scully: "No, it would mean nothing, Mulder."
Mulder: "No, it would mean that our progenitors
were alien, that our genesis was alien, that we're here because of them;
that they put us here."
Scully: "Mulder, that is science fiction. It doesn't hold
a drop of water."
Mulder: "You're wrong. It holds everything.
Don't you see? All the mysteries of science everything we can't understand
or won't explain, every human behaviourism - cosmology, psychology,
everything in the X-Files - it all owes to them. It's from them."
Scully: "Mulder, I will not accept that. It is
just not possible."
Mulder: "Well, then, you go ahead and prove me wrong,
Scully."

Scully: [voiceover] "The work here is painstaking - a
slow and tedious piecing together. It appears to be a craft, its skin covered
in the intricate symbols you and I both saw, but which I now understand
are part of a complex communication. Dr Barnes has broken some of the symbols
into letters using an ancient Navajo alphabet and, though it has helped
to uncover some of what's here it has also made for greater confusion.
On the top surface of the craft I'm finding words describing human genetics."
[On graph paper she translates the names of the four basic nucleotides
- Cytosine, Guanine, Ademine, Thymine] "Efforts to read the bottom of the
craft have been harder. Our workers were scared away by phenomena I admit
I can't explain - a sea of blood, a swarm of insects. But what little we
have found has been staggering - passages from the Christian
Bible, from pagan religions, from Ancient Sumeria... science and
mysticism conjoined. But more than words, they are somehow imbued with
power. I've ignored warnings to quit this work, remaining committed to
finding answers, afraid only that our secret here won't last and that I
might be too late."
Amina Ngebe (to Scully): "I have something to show you.
More pieces of the puzzle. I couldn't believe it; thought I was making
it up in my head; that it could not be true."
Scully: "What?"
Amina Ngebe (to Scully): "What this is. What the
symbols spell-out, is a passage from the Koran.
Qiyamat (Sura 75 - the Resurrection - please see the bottom of this page),
the Day of Final Judgement. On a spacecraft? Teachings of the
ancient prophet Mohammed?"
Scully (to Amina): "I found more too. 24 panels,
one for each human chromosome. A map of their make-up, maybe, a map
of our entire genetic make-up. A complete human genome. I mean;
it's like; it's the most beautiful, intricate work of art."
Amina Ngebe (to Scully): "It is the word of God."
Dr. Barnes: "I know what you're saying, because
today I understand everything; beginning and end, Alpha and Omega; everything
in between. It's all been written. But the word is 'extraterrestrial'."
Skinner (to Scully): "They said he (Mulder) was dying,
I had to do something."
Scully. "He's not dying."
Skinner. "I'm afraid it's true."
Scully: "He's not dying. He
is more alive than he's ever been. He's more alive than his
body can withstand. And what's causing it may be extraterrestrial
in origin."
Skinner (to Scully). "I know. But there's nothing to be
done about it."
Scully: "Mulder, it's me. I know that you can hear
me, if you can just give me some sign. I want you to know where I've
been, what I found. I think that if you know, that you could find
a way to hold on. I need you to hold on.. I found a key,
THE KEY…to every question that has ever been asked. It's a puzzle
but the pieces are there for us to put together, and I know that they can
save you if you can just hold on. Mulder, please, hold on."
Mulder is secretly taken away from the hospital by the
Smoker.
Hosteen (to Scully): "I'm sorry to surprise you."
Scully: "Surprised, uh, that you're standing here."
Hosteen: "I was hoping to see your partner."
Scully: "He's missing."
Hosteen: "You must find him before something happens.
Not only for your own sake, for the sake of us all."
Scully (to Skinner): "Sir, did you send me this book?"
Skinner: "Excuse me?"
Scully: "This book, it explains
everything that I found in Africa, using the same symbols that
I found on the ship."
Skinner: "Agent Scully, I asked you not to involve
me in this."
Scully (to Skinner): "It's all here sir, a foretelling
of mass extinction, a myth
about a man who can save us from it. That's why they took Mulder.
They think that his "illness" is a gift, protection against the coming
plague."
Kritschgau (to Scully): "That data supports what's
happened to Mulder, it proves what he's become, biologically alien."
[Mulder over to the Dream Boy who has just finished making
a huge UFO in the sand]
Mulder (to Dream Boy): "Wow. What did you make?"
Dream Boy: "An unidentified flying object." [He starts
to kick it apart]
Mulder: "Hey! What are... what are you doing? Why are
you destroying your spaceship?"
Dream Boy: "It's your spaceship. You're destroying it.
You were supposed to help me."
Hosteen (to Scully): "You're running out of time."
Scully: "Why do you come to me like this. Why? When
I can't find him?"
Hosteen: "You don't look in the right place."
Scully: "I don't think you're hearing me."
Hosteen: "You don't know where he is?"
Scully: "Even if I did, I wouldn't know how to save him.
This science makes no sense to me."
Hosteen: "Have you looked for him here?" [pointing to
her heart].
Scully: "Are you asking me to pray?"
Hosteen: "There are more worlds, than the one you can
hold in your hand." [then she prays].
Mulder (to Scully): "They said you were 'dead'."
Scully: "And you believed them. Traitor."
Mulder. "What?"
Scully. "Deserter. Coward."
Mulder. "No Scully, don't, I'm dying."
Scully. "You're not supposed to die Mulder, not here."
Mulder. "What do you mean?"
Scully: "Not in a comfortable bed with the Devil outside."
Mulder: "No you don't understand, he's taking care of
me."
Scully. "No, Mulder, he's lulled you to sleep.
He's made you trade your true Mission for creature
comforts."
Mulder: "There was no mission, there were no aliens."
Scully. "No aliens. Have you looked outside Mulder?"
Mulder. "I can't. I'm too tired."
Scully: "No, Mulder, you must get up. You must get
up and fight, especially you. This isn't your place. Get up Mulder. Get
up and fight the Fight."
Scully: "Mulder. Mulder you've got to wake-up.
. . . Mulder, can you understand me? Mulder you've got to get up,
I don't know how much time we have. But you've got to get up, Mulder.
No one can do it but you Mulder. Mulder, help me. Please
Mulder."
Mulder: "You, help me."
Scully: "I don't know what to believe anymore. Mulder,
I was so determined to find a cure, to save
you, that I could deny what it was that I saw. And now I don't even
know, I don't know; I don't know what the truth is; I don't know who to
listen to; I don't know who to trust."
Mulder: "Scully, I was like you once. I didn't know
who to trust. And I chose another path. Another life, another
fate where I found my sister. The end of
my world was unrecognisable and upside down. There was one thing
that remained the same. You were my friend and you told me the truth.
Even when the world was falling apart you were my constant; my touchstone."

Sura 75
Surah 75. The Rising Of The Dead, Resurrection
75:1. I do call to witness the Resurrection Day;
75:2. And I do call to witness the self-reproaching spirit:
(shun Evil).
75:3. Does man think that We cannot assemble his bones?
75:4. Nay, We are able to put together in perfect order
the very tips of his fingers.
75:5. But man wishes to do wrong (even) in the time in
front of him.
75:6. He questions: "When is the Day of Resurrection?"
75:7. At length, when the Sight is dazed,
75:8. And the moon is buried in darkness.
75:9. And the sun and moon are joined together,-
75:10. That Day will Mankind say: "Where is the refuge?"
75:11. By no means! No place of safety!
75:12. Before thy Lord (alone), will be the place of
rest that Day.
75:13. That Day will man be told (all) that he put forward,
and all that he put back.
75:14. Nay, man will be evidence against himself,
75:15. Even though he were to put up his excuses.
75:16. Move not thy tongue concerning the (Koran) to
make haste therewith.
75:17. It is for Us to collect it and to publicise it:
75:18. But when We have made it known, follow thou its
recital (as made known):
75:19. Nay more, it is for Us ALONE to EXPLAIN it (and
make it clear):
75:20. Nay, (ye men!) but ye love the fleeting life,
75:21. And leave alone the Hereafter.
75:22. Some faces, that Day, will beam (in brightness
and beauty);-
75:23. Looking towards their Lord (Matthew 5:16);
75:24. And some faces, that Day, will be sad and dismal,
75:25. In the thought that some back-breaking calamity
was about to be inflicted on them;
75:26. Yea, when (the soul - Being) reaches to the collar-bone
(in its exit),
75:27. And there will be a cry, "Who is a magician (able
to restore him)?"
75:28. And he will conclude that it was (the Time) of
Parting [of body and soul - human and Being];
75:29. And one leg will be joined with another:
75:30. That Day the Drive will be (all) to thy Lord!
75:31. So he gave nothing in charity, nor did he pray!-
75:32. But on the contrary, he rejected Truth and turned
away!
75:33. Then did he stalk to his family in full conceit!
75:34. Woe to thee, (O man!), yea, woe!
75:35. Again, Woe to thee, (O man!), yea, woe!
75:36. Does man think that he will be left uncontrolled,
(without purpose)?
75:37. Was he not a drop of sperm emitted (in lowly form)?
75:38. Then did he become a leech-like clot then did
"I AM" make and fashion (him) in due proportion.
75:39. And of him He made two sexes, male and female.
75:40. Has not He, (the Same), the power to give "Life"
to the "Dead" (Matt. 8:22; John 11:25-26)?
